Day 16 – where did half of December go?

Hi everyone,

Yup, that is the question – where did first half go already?

I feel like I just started this blogging challenge and now we are already in second half! I have to say I am not where I was hoping to be in blog writing and preparedness- in other words, I am still winging it my friends… bleh.

But here we are, let’s not quit now!

This past weekend was lovely for getting to spend some time with many quilting friends! Our WNY Modern Quilters guild had now famous and traditional, Holiday party and it was just wonderful! Party was hosted by our current president, my friend Robi and her mom and no, it wasn’t a potluck! They prepared almost all the food and we all brought donations of food for local SPCA – how awesome is that?!

And two of our members, Karen and Bonnie made these lovely party favors for everyone too

No, it’s not box of Altoids- it’s a little pincushion!! Just too cute!

Quilting is such a treasure in my life – primarily for giving me this chance to meet amazing people and make wonderful friends. I am so grateful.
