Day 17-19… will I ever catch up?

Hey there my friends,

Playing major catchup here… combination of some strange cold (that keeps coming back for a day or two) and general business of this time of the year is definitely cramping my blogging… ☹️

But I am determined not to give up.

I finally finished dresses for the special family my department adopted for the holidays: two Arias

And since those are not quite holiday dresses, I made two Blithe pattern dresses (by Violette Field Threads ) in red velvet and some plaid taffeta

I hope girls will like them!

I squeezed one more Aria dress, this time for my good friend’s granddaughter – I really love this color combo!

Of course I have to make a matching headband too. I just love making these. I buy a big package of satin covered headbands in different colors (Amazon) and then just pull out one that works, stitch some bow or use silk flowers…

OK, now onto some serious Christmas prep! There needs to be some intense gift wrapping happening tomorrow after work!! So you might see a ton of paper instead of fabric in tomorrow’s post…
