Day 13-15 – finally some quilting here

Hi everyone,

I am catching up again on my 31 Day Blog Writing Challenge… this time sickness strikes! Both hubby and I got a cold and stumbled through few days… I was falling asleep as soon as I wasn’t moving!! 😱😱😱

But much better now and getting back on my blogging too.

Remember that great red mess in my sewing room, in previous post? Well it did become one holiday dress

And another one is in the making!

Also, since gift was given, I can show you this little quilt now too

Little Bougainvillea watercolor quilt I made as a Secret Santa gift, for my guild’s holiday party.

It was raining outside, so no fancy photos of this one, but I do like how it turned out! Fabric is from Katarina Roccella’s Mediterraneo collection, one of my favorites. It is quilted with 50wt fuchsia, green and light teal Aurifil thread (another favorite).

I really love to do that faux-piping binding.

Ooh and guess what? – for the first time I sewed-in my new logo label, yayyy !!

Feeling fancy!! 😁

Now back to some Christmas decoration and finishing few more dresses!!
