Good evening my friends.

Today was a busy day of cleaning and slight furniture re-arranging so that Christmas tree can come in. We got the tree too – just before our granddaughters came over for a sleepover, so no photos of anything just yet…

As we read several bedtime stories and I tucked them in for a good night sleep (goodness, how I love that!) I wanted to at least pop in here and say hi for today. Hope you had a good Saturday too?

I do have one thing to show you! You know how you see something on Pinterest and just love it? I saw this cute winter wreath and just couldn’t get it out of my head…

I knew I got those pom-pom makers for something! Got me some white yarn a finally found a cute little house and some trees… here is my progress:

I think it will look really cute!

Since it is not a priority in this busy holiday season, I make pompoms when I have little time to sit down (morning coffee, evening news on TV..) so hopefully it will get done soon… Now my granddaughters love these pompoms, so off to get more yarn colors and have some fun with them too!

In today’s cleaning, fall quilts got taken down and Christmas ones came out of the closet… promise more photos tomorrow, but for today, I just quickly snapped this one

I designed this one many years ago, for this holiday fabric collection as it came out in my quilt shop. I call it Season’s Joys. I think it would look good in some new Christmas fabrics too? What do you think?

As this day is getting to a close, (11 pm!) I better go to sleep now, as my girls love to get up early… and tomorrow will be a fun and busy day – we have some secret projects to do in the sewing room!

Promise to share some of that fun with you tomorrow, good night!

Love,

Marija

I love this white pompom Christmas wreath, too. You’ve inspired me to make one, as well. I think I’ll start making Christmas wall hanging quilts, too. I love the idea of taking down the daily favorites and replacing them for a few weeks. I’ve run out of wall space, so I need to do some swapping out. Thanks for all the inspiration. I needed it.
