Day 20 – finally lights!!

… on a tree, that is.

Hi everyone,

We got our lovely tree two weeks ago and only now I am getting the lights on it… geez. Well, I have to say that both my husband and I just enjoyed the tree as it is, it’s a lovely Frazier’s fir and it smells divine.

Do you have a particular and favorite type of Christmas tree?

We do – it’s always Frazier’s Fir. On a practical side, they are really good in keeping needles for a long time, and we do keep out tree for a while. But I also like the look of Frazier’s fir, and of course the fragrance…

We have a little tradition that developed through the years – I do the lights on the tree, and then we all gather together to do the ornaments. We kept it so far even through these years that kids are all in homes if their own and our daughter lives out of town. Somehow we did it, and it makes me smile…

That is why I am not very particular when the tree gets done – it’s most important that we do it together.

So here I am, doing the lights as this day is about to end…

and tomorrow is a happy day when whole family will be together to trim it. I am sooooo looking forward to these days ahead when we will all be together!!

But tonight – I do have little help too:

Miss Tesla ignored the tree so far, but lights seem like a good toy??

Silly girl. I had to stop and play with her a bit, she is just too cute.
