Hi everyone,

I hope you are well and enjoying all kinds of creative fun!

When I first saw Find Your Path fabric collection by Maureen Fiorellini, for Studio E Fabrics, I knew I wanted to play with it and make a kids version of my Niagara Stars pattern. I am so happy and grateful that Maureen invited me to participate in the Find Your Path blog tour and honored to be in the company of so many talented makers. Make sure to visit all the Tour stops to see so many beautiful things you can make with this cute collection.

Mr. Teddy Bear immediately fell in love and decided this ill be his project too.

I knew that my Niagara Stars pattern will look super cute in these adorable fabrics, so I divided prints into lights and medium/darks and decided that beautiful gold print will be for the stars.

There was cutting to be done and Mr. Teddy Bear thought he was helping, but of course we all know how that goes… Nevertheless, he felt exhausted after all that work? 🙂

All these squares become blocks and blocks become a quilt through the “magic” of stitching, pressing and yes, sometimes un-stitching.

TA-DAH!!

I love all these cute animals wondering around the stars, great words, mushrooms… I could just see my grandkids searching for them all while cuddling under the quilt! Oh but there is more here – look at the back!!

How adorable is this panel with all the lovely phrases?! This collection comes not only with this beautiful panel, but one more and even fabric book panel too – so many fun projects to be made for your little ones! I really can’t wait for my grandkids to play and cuddle with this quilt.

Oh but here comes the best part for all of you – GIVEAWAY TIME!!

To celebrate this beautiful collection Maureen is giving away a complete fat quarter bundle of Find Your Path, two panels like ones I used on the back of the quilt and of course, I am thrilled to give away a copy of my Niagara Stars pattern as well. To enter, head over to my Instagram post and follow the giveaway rules and leave me a comment here – what would you like to make using these cute fabrics?

You have until Monday, November 7th midnight to enter – GOOD LUCK!!

Oh but that is not all my friends! There is so many more beautiful ideas and inspirations on this Blog Tour, as well as amazing giveaways – so make sure you visit all the makers on the Blog Hop! Click HERE or on the banner below for schedule and all the links – HAPPY TOURING AND GOOD LUCK!

A big thank you goes to Maureen for trusting me to play with her beautiful fabrics and inviting me to be a part of this lovely Blog Tour! I can’t wait to see what beautiful collections she designs next!

I hope you enjoy creating with Find Your Path as well and can’t wait to see what you make – please share your creations!

Happy sewing,

Marija

Maureen’s fabric collection and grandchildren are a wonderful mix and the perfect reason to make a quilt! Yes, sitting together and pointing out the animals and making their sounds would make for a wonderful time. I would make a quilt too, with large patchwork blocks to show off the great fabric details. Then maybe I’ll keep it tucked away for those grandchildren! <3

I’m sure my granddaughter would love a nap quilt made with this fabric. I have a pattern for a quick simple quilt that uses multiple fabrics.
