May your days be filled with joy, love and all the family and friends you hold dear.

I am so very grateful for my family, they are my heartbeat.

I was a bit late with lights on the tree but managed to have it done…

… in time for all our kids to come and decorate it, after a good family dinner on Friday. It is always so much joy to have all our kids together, nothing makes me happier. Truly.

As they hang ornaments on the tree and chat and joke, I just wonder around with my camera and try to have my heart not explode from happiness… 😍 I feel so privileged to have it all. I really do.

I hope you are able to enjoy all the love and family this holiday season, in person or in memories. I hope your heart is filled with joy, peace and gratitude.

Our holidays are always well coordinated, since all our kids now have in-laws and time has to be spread to be with everyone. This year I had Christmas Day brunch and decided on simple stuff – charcuterie board, eggs and home made bread and lots of fruit.

It is a fun one – not a lot of last minute work and everyone can take whatever they like, pick and choose… Of course fresh baked bread, right from the oven is always a favorite. I’d say it was a good choice.

At the end, it is all about just being together. Once your kids are grown and left the nest, moments when all are back, in your house, having fun together, are just the most important thing. Definitely what I dream about all the time. 🙂
